We had a feeling this might be a good buy, but had no idea until we dug in, both to the wine and its price online, what a deal this bottle is at Costco right now.
This wine is $70 at Total Wine and most online outlets are selling it for around $60. Costco is bringing it in at $25.99. Unbelievable. And it doesn't hurt to mention the 93 points from Wine Spectator.

The blend is 76% Cabernet Sauvignon and 24% Cabernet Franc, and comes from the Maipo Valley in Chile, a hot spot for great wines at fair prices. We couldn't wait to get into it.
This is a big, bold wine, which is not unexpected. In the glass it pours a deep dark ruby; full body with chewy tannins; flavors of black cherry, blackberry and plum; notes of cedar, tobacco with a super long finish.

Easy 92 points for us, and a spot on our Top Picks list. And an absolutely massive discounted price at Costco, more than half the price of other outlets.
If this sounds up your alley, consider stocking up so you have a few on hand all year long. Thanks for this one Costco.

For this wine in particular, but indeed for most of the reds you review, I wish you would comment more on how open/closed the wine is and how much decanting, if any, you suggest. It would help a lot, especially if one is buying just one bottle to try.
Thanks.
