The new 2024 vintage of the Kirkland Carneros Pinot Noir is just landing on Costco shelves.
This one is always a mixed bag for us, but we saw a little uptick last year along with a $1 price drop that held through to this vintage too. $8.99 remains a bargain price for Carneros Pinot Noir.

Here are our ratings for this wine over the years, going all the way back to the 2016 vintage.
2016 89 points
2017 90 points
2018 89 points
2019 89 points
2020 85 points
2021 86 points
2022 85 points
2023 87 points
We are hoping the bottom may have been those 2020-2022 vintages.
Getting into the new 2024 wine, it continues to hang in there but leaves a bit to be desired.
Similar to last year in many ways, this wine is a light ruby red in the glass, spice and red fruit on the nose; medium in body, good acidity; red fruit flavor, cherry, raspberry with toasted oak, tangy with some cranberry in the finish.

We're going to keep the rating right at 87 points for this wine. It remains a middle of the road contender among the Kirkland Pinot line. Always hoping for a bit more but starting to warm up a bit.
