This wine is a blend of Sangiovese, Merlot, and Cabernet that come together nicely, and just begs to be paired with some Italian food.
Wine Enthusiast gave this bottle 90 points and listed the retail price as $22. We thought their rating was spot on.
This wine pours a medium to dark ruby in the glass; full in body, soft tannins, good acidity; a nice contrast of red and dark fruit, blackberry, plum, and cherry flavors; touch of anise, vanilla, and spice notes in the very lasting finish.
This is just what you hope for in a Super Tuscan at a very good Costco price. Cheers.
