We're fans of many Napa Valley Cabernet but definitely not all of them. They can really be hit or miss, or stylistically not up our alley; sometimes too oaky, too fruity, or too big and overwhelming.
The ones we prefer are styled more around elegance and balance, and we found this one from Poetic Justice to fit the bill. This has all the signature Napa elements wrapped up in a really enjoyable bottle of Cabernet.

Price at Costco is $25.99, and there's not a lot of information online about this wine. The Justice line of wines includes bottles from a number of key Napa appellations including Yountville, Coombsville, Oak Knoll and Rutherford.
Definitely give this one a decant as it opened up nicely after a bit of air. The wine pours a deep ruby in the glass with classic aromas of red fruit, light oak and pencil shavings; medium in body, nice and light with mellow tannins, touch of acidity and vibrant red fruit flavor; finishes dry with a little oak.

Again, it comes down to style, and personal preferences for these types of wines. This is not a big, overbearing, fruit bomby Napa Cab; instead it falls much more on the refined, elegant, restrained side, which is right up our alley.

Thanks for this. Always informative.
My Costco has a 2nd lable from this producer with a white label. Did you get a chance to pick up both bottles, by chance?
Editor says
Yes i believe it’s a Rutherford which is very interesting. We did not pick it up but probably will following the quality of this one.

The bottle I bought in Greenville SC was labeled Rutherford on the front and back labels.
