A nice find here and it's really no surprise considering it's an Antinori wine. They are a super dependable Italian producer whose wines frequently grace Costco shelves.
This is the first time finding and tasting this Chardonnay from Umbria from them, and it was everything we hoped it would be. Absolutely delicious.

The retail price is around $30 and we see the bottle online for $25 at a few places, so Costco's $20.99 price looks pretty good. 91 points from Wine Advocate as well.
In the glass this wine is a straw yellow with citrus fruit, wet rock on the nose; it is medium in body with beautiful flavors of white peach, green apple and grapefruit; nice mineral element; this wine is super clean and pure, faint oak, no butter. Really lets the fruit shine through. Love it.

A well made Chardonnay, just what you would expect from Antinori. Chardonnay lovers can easily get behind this one, and fans of other whites who don't normally like Chardonnay may too.
