The latest vintage of the Kirkland Premier Cru Chablis is arriving in stores. I know some readers found this last month, but we are just seeing it now around us in Atlanta.
Costco finally broke the crucial $20 price point this time around. It was climbing up from $17 a few years ago, to $18.99 with the 2021 vintage and now we've reached $21.99, which still more than fair for quality Premier Cru Chablis.

Reports on the quality of this vintage have been favorable from readers, and we very much agree. This is the best vintage we've tasted of this wine.

This one was having a tough time breaking out above 90 points for us, but that's not a problem this time around. This is an absolutely delicious wine, and we have no problem paying a few bucks more.

The wine is a medium gold with a slight green tint in the glass (hard to tell from the photo); nose of citrus fruit and flowers; it is medium bodied and clean with no oak allowing the fruit to really come through.
Flavors of lemon, green apple, pear, and light apricot; nice minerality and acidity as we've noted about previous vintages; a touch of creaminess but very subtle; strong finish that really wraps it up nicely.

So much to like here with this 2023 vintage, and if this one is still lingering around on our next trip we might have to buy a few extra to have on hand.

Great wine, all gone now. This is a family favorite for the holidays. It was available in our NoVA stores mid-November. Interesting that you are on the "back end" of the delivery schedule for this one as it seems that you receive them before we do. Better late than never. Enjoy!
