Wine Spectator’s Top 100 Wines of 2019 - Which Ones Are At Costco?

Published: Nov 23, 2019 · Modified: Feb 12, 2021 by Editor ·

This is always a fun post, but it relies a lot on all of our readers out there (just updated with some comments from readers, thank you).

As they do every year, Wine Spectator just released their Top 100 wines of 2019. It's a fun list to comb through and this year they highlighted some wines I really enjoy, not all sold at Costco.

Beaucastel is a Costco wine that we always love. Costco carried the Mayacamas Chardonnay which we also love, but not the Cabernet that made the list. Pichon Baron, delicious. Branaire-Ducru is always a good value as is Domaine de Chevalier, although the price on the latter keeps going up.

Lots of fun to get into here. I'm going to point out the Costco wines that I've aware of, and will of course be on the lookout now on future trips. The full list with all the detail (vintages, pricing and ratings) is on the Wine Spectator site.

We need your help. Hit us up in the comments if you've seen any of these wines at your local Costco warehouse.

Dry Creek 'Old Vine' Zinfandel 2014 (not Heritage Vine) available at Coralville Iowa store. Fantastic zinfandel, one of the best I've tasted. Even better than the regularly stocked Seghesio zinfandels.

The Barbera at #50 is available for 11.89 in Chicago. Picked up 3 before I saw this -- love the value you get from Monferrato.

Would love if #59 ever popped up... I think the Alpha M is one of the best values in Colchagua.
