This is a bottle Champagne fans are probably familiar with and it was a nice surprise to see it at Costco at the very fair price of $34.99.
It's a Champagne that's popular on restaurant wine lists, likely due to its relatively low price compared to most other bottles of you'll find; of course though not quite as low as the Kirkland Champagne that remains hard to beat for just over $20 (has seen a recent price increase).

This bottle pulled down 92 points and has landed on Wine Spectator's top value picks list. We couldn't agree more with their assessment. Varietals are 40% Pinot Noir, 40% Meunier, and 20% Chardonnay.
The wine is a pale gold on the pour with nice, light effervescence; medium in body; flavors of apple, apricot, honey; nicely balanced and crisp throughout; a touch of almond; just a delight to drink like you want Champagne to be.

We're going to follow Wine Spectator's 92 points. This is a delicious bubbly at one of the lower prices you'll find for a true Champagne.

Great timing, I lucked out and found a few bottles of this on clearance at Kroger for $22 this week! Glad to hear I picked a good one.

Great alternative to the other "big houses" (Veuve, Moet, Mumm, Taittinger, Roederer etc.). I still remember it being served BTG on Delta's business class....

This bottle first showed up in our Washington state store a few years ago, at the ridiculously low price of $22.99. It was, in my opinion, a much better champagne than the Kirkland brand. Not surprisingly, it sold out very quickly, and I've never seen it there since. But now that I know it's been spotted again, it'll be on my watch list, even with the price increase. It sells for $49.99 at our local Safeway, so the Costco price still looks like a bargain by comparison.
