Just on the heels of another awesome Loire Valley Sauvignon Blanc, we run into another one at Costco. Not a bad problem to have at all, especially for fans like us of these mineral driven French Sauvignon Blancs.
This one's from Pouilly-Fume, an area we'd love to see represented more at Costco, so big thumbs up from us.

Costco's $19.99 price is solid, considering retail is $30+. 90 points from Wine Enthusiast, which is spot on in our opinion.
This wine is a pale yellow in the glass, with light citrus aromas, touch of honey; medium body, nice acidity and mouthfeel; flavors of lemon-lime, grapefruit, and green apple; flinty and mineral notes into a crisp, dry finish.

Perfect with some shrimp as we had it or any other white fish, seafood or summer salad. Thirst quenching and hard to resist, lots to like here especially around sunny skies.
