We're huge fans of Rioja and will always scoop up these new ones that appear at Costco to taste and review for the site. They almost always overdeliver for the price.
We have a solid pick here at a nicely discounted Costco price. Poking around online we found a consistent 91 points from all the main wine critics.
Costco's $14.99 price is well below the retail of $26, and we see it discounted on Wine.com for $19.97.

The wine is a blend of 75% Tempranillo, 19% Graciano, 3% Garnacha and 3% Mazuelo.
This is just the style of Rioja we enjoy too. It's elegant and refined, easy drinking, food friendly and just delicious.
It pours a medium to deep ruby, subtle red and dark fruit and herbs on the nose; the wine is medium in body; grippy tannins; flavors of cherry, blackberry, and plum; herbs, little vanilla and spice into a lovely finish.

All around, this is a well made, well balanced wine that would be a crowd pleaser in almost any setting. Another nice find from Rioja at a compelling Costco price.
