We love finding a new Chablis on Costco shelves, and we love it even more when Drouhin is the producer.
Most recently we found their Saint Veran Chardonnay at Costco, and keep an eye out for Cloudline Pinot Noir from their Oregon property. Both delicious.
This Chablis is a delicious wine too at a pretty good Costco price considering it sells for $29 at multiple outlets online including Wine.com and Total Wine.
This wine is pale-straw yellow on the pour with aromas of citrus fruit; medium bodied, grassy and acidic; flavors of green apple, pear, lemon; it is crisp and clean with mineral notes in the finish.
A well balanced and delicious Chablis; exactly what you expect from a top notch producer.
We heard the latest vintage of the Kirkland Chablis is out in stores but have yet to find it ourselves. This wine is just a few bucks more, and right on par.
