Just a few months ago I tried the 2013 vintage of this wine, and I was so impressed that I bought a few more. As it goes at Costco if you don’t look carefully, different vintages of the same wines can share the same bin. This is a key reason why you should always dig through the bins to make sure you buy the best year. When I came home from Costco I realized I purchased two bottles of the 2013, and one bottle of the 2014 Acrobat, which I had not reviewed yet. So here we are…
The 2014 is a very nice wine that reminded me a lot of the 2013. It leads with citrus fruit flavor, in a pleasant balance that remained interesting. For an $11 wine accomplishing all that is hitting it out of the ballpark in my opinion. This is a good, safe white to serve almost anytime; super food friendly. My rating will stay the same year to year at 88 points.
