Here's a delicious new Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand that is a clear step above many of the other wines you find from the region.
It reminds us in many ways of the Rapaura Springs Sauvignon Blanc we reviewed and really enjoyed earlier this year.

If you enjoy these wines, it's worth it to venture beyond the big name New Zealand bottles you're used to, and to try some of these other ones that are less familiar.
91 points from Wine Enthusiast for this one, and a retail price of $20 compared to Costco's $15.69. Remember that Costco prices ending with a 9 that isn't $.99, for example $10.89, or $15.69, is a special deal given just to Costco.

Getting into our notes on this wine, we could tell right away this was a good one; citrusy nose and medium in body; toned down acidity makes this very accessible; flavors of lemon, apple, pineapple and peach; excellent finish.
This wine is a beautiful expression of Sauvignon Blanc, and one we'll be coming back to again in the future. 91 points from us, and a Top Pick for the site.

Sorry guys this is stupid pricing for NZ Sav Blanc in 2025. It's California pricing for cheap grape juice. We get tons of great NZ Sav Blanc here for under 10$. It runs like water to the sewer after a rain storm here with this stuff. 91 points barely worth trying for 8.99 not gonna happen at this price for me ever.
