This is a unique and interesting Costco wine find.
First is the obvious price discount on the Costco placard. We always love seeing that yellow bar, and in this case it brings the price down from $14.89 to $8.99 (the math is a little wonky on the sign, but close enough).
An online search turns up websites selling the wine for around $13, so Costco's discounted price is where we want to be.

This is a wine from a lesser known region in France, although it's situated next to popular ones. Cevennes is a mountainous area in the southern part of France neighboring Cotes du Rhone and Costieres de Nimes.
The area is known for red wines made from Grenache and Syrah, and whites made from Viognier, Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
We love finding areas like this at Costco flying under the radar, and especially when the wines are tasty, like this one turned out to be.
The wine is a pale yellow in the glass with light citrus aromas and mineral notes; it is medium body with balanced acidity, a nice tanginess but not too much; flavors of white peach, grapefruit and lemon; zesty finish.

A very nice sauvignon blanc and balanced throughout to really please about any crowd. Great table wine for the summer too, especially at this discounted price. An enthusiastic 90 points for us.

I’m a big S. Blanc fan…..and I’d give it no more than an 88……as compared to other brands like Whitehaven.

It’s showing at full price on my Costco app for my warehouse, though it’s out of stock.

9$ at my Costco and I’ve had several of these the last couple of weekends. I’d go 89 pts +1 for the shear value. I’ve got another couple as well. I have been loving the Decoy SB for 14$ as well. I like this style of SN over the overly grassy NZ style but there is enough for everyone
