This is the first Rosé from Bandol that we've reviewed on the site but we've enjoyed a handful of bottles over the years. Very cool to see this one arrive on Costco shelves.
Bandol is located in Provence in Southeastern France and is known for Mourvedre which is used in most of the red wines from the region. This Rosé likely includes Mourvedre in addition to Grenache and Cinsault.

Costco's price of $16.79 is very competitive; online we see the wine going for $20-$25. 91 points from Spectator on the 2023 vintage (placard shows score for 2022).
We agree on that score for sure this time around. This is a fantastic bottle and a great find at Costco, just what we were hoping it would be.

The wine is a nice pink salmon color in the glass with red fruit and citrus aromas; medium bodied with juicy fruit flavor of raspberry, strawberry, a little white peach; creamy in the finish with some nice minerality.
A beautiful expression of the Mediterranean terroir, and a bottle we will be adding to our Top Picks list.

Bandol is *in* Provence, not "inside."
