Here’s a new one we have yet to try, and it’s an organic Sauvignon Blanc from Chile, so a little outside the standard lineup in the white aisle, which we are always on the lookout for.
The price is very competitive, coming in at $11.99 at Costco, when online we see it going for around $16 at most outlets. And some pretty solid scores from the critics, landing around 90-92 across most vintages of this wine.
As we get into the wine, it immediately feels very New Zealand in style, a bit more of that tangy acidity than we originally expected. But we love it, and it’s delivered in a very nice package.
Floral, gravely nose smells like you’re standing near the coast; flavors of lime, grapefruit, white peach, zingy into the finish, fresh, crisp with some nice minerality. So much to like in this wine, and it’s a perfect summer treat.
Sauvignon Blanc fans, especially those who like the grassy acidity of New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs will love this wine. It’s hard to imagine something tasting much better than this one, chilled, on a hot day. Cheers.

I've had some of this one, and fully agree. It's a great wine at a great price.
