Here's an interesting new Costco wine that instantly caught our eye. We are always on the lookout for new and different white wines from around the world, so this bottle fits the bill perfectly.
This is a blend of three grapes from the Saint Mont area in Gascogne in southwestern France: Gros Manseng, Petit Courbu, and Arrufiac, three grapes you don't hear about often, but they really come together nicely in this wine.
Costco's price was $12.99 which is really good considering we found it online at multiple outlets for $20-$22 a bottle.
The wine pours a medium yellow in the glass, with aromas of citrus fruit, and white flowers; it is medium in body with robust flavors of white peach, nectarine and apple. Lots going on with the different varietals but they are blended to perfection. Distinctive, lingering finish.
This is an outstanding wine at a great Costco price; it's one that we might stock up on for the summer months too because this would be (perhaps even more) delicious on a hot summer day.

I really liked this unusual wine…definitely a surprise to find it and taste it.

It would be nice if we could order Costco wine online. Many of these wines do not seem to be available at our local Colorado store. Another alternative would be to provide an online check of inventory per store so one doesn’t drive over only to be disappointed 😥

We have the same problem at the Strongsville, OH store. Most -- maybe 80% -- of the wines reviewed by the Costco Wine Blog are never seen here. Sometimes that's due to Ohio's laws. But it would be nice if someone could give us some insight into Costco's allocation system. As I once said to the warehouse manager: "We pay the same membership fee as the people in Atlanta. Why are we treated like third class citizens?"

The 2019 vintage of this wine is excellent and still available at some Costco locations here in Florida.

I am down to my last bottle of the 2019 vintage and have anxiously awaited for it to reappear at Costco so I won't regret popping the cork on my 2019. A tremendous value that I recommend highly. Most CA chardonnay for 2-3 times the price just can't compare. Granted, different grapes in the Pyrenees blend.
