We mentioned before a goal to taste a lot of wines from Burgundy in 2023, so every time we see a new one pop up at Costco, we’re going to try to give it a review.
Here’s a Pouilly-Fuisse that came in at $18.99, and it turned out to be an excellent find. Online we found this wine is selling in the $30-$40 range at several outlets.
Pouilly-Fuisse is known for offering high quality Chardonnay at reasonable prices, and this is a good case in point. Finding good Burgundy under $20 is always a challenge.
The wine pours a medium gold in the glass with aromas of tropical fruit; flavors of green apple, apricot, with some nice mineral notes; well balanced, medium body with good acidity; really lasting in the finish.
What a delight, and a high caliber wine at a fantastic price. Be sure not to drink it too cold or you will mask some of its beauty. This is a nice warm weather pick, and a wine that is super food friendly.

I bought this at my store in Fort Oglethorpe, GA in early to mid April. It was recommended by the awesome wine guy that works there. Great wine!

Thanks for alerting us of the "possibility" it might appear in a store near us. I really love Pouilly-Fuisse wines. This is a good price as I recently purchased Pouilly-Fuisse wines elsewhere for over $20 per bottle. Now, this selection would only appear at my local Costco.... ;-)
