We knew this was going to be a delicious wine and boy, did it deliver.
This is the Goldeneye Pinot from Duckhorn and their Anderson Valley fruit. We’ve tasted previous vintages (not from Costco) and have always enjoyed this wine. Tasting this 2021 vintage was a nice reminder of how good this really is.
Costco’s price is super competitive at $35.99. Retail is $62 and even discounted, retailers like Wine.com are selling it for $50.
Ratings-wise, this is low – mid 90 points almost every year we found, including a giant 95 points rating for this wine’s 2020 vintage from Wine Enthusiast.
This is really nice Pinot Noir, delicately and elegantly delivered in a super easy drinking wine. Nice red fruit and clove on the nose, pale ruby on the pour; flavors of raspberry, cherry and blackberry with notes of vanilla and spice; earthy in the close.
This one is just delicious all around; super food friendly with just about anything. Also a perfect Thanksgiving wine pick for anyone getting a late start.
CostcoWineBlog.com Rating: 92 points (a Costco Wine Top Pick)
Costco item number: 376114
Purchased at Costco in: Atlanta, GA (Kennesaw)
Alc. 14.2%

I enjoy reading your posts and searching for these great values at Costco. However, we are on the other side of the country in southeast WA state. I rarely find the wines you recommend except under the Kirkland label. Is there a way to search the Costco inventory by store or by region? Of course, the flip side of this problem is that we have access to a lot of Pacific NW wines from Washington and Oregon which are wonderful and which you may not see.

Once again this blog highlights a wine that has zero inventory in any of the Atlanta Region Clubs! I searched for inventory before Costco opened on the day I received this post and there was zero inventory.
This blog does not offer value when it features very limited or non-existent inventory.
It is not difficult to ask the customer service desk at any club to look up inventory by club location for a specific sku to determine if folks would have an opportunity to buy it.
I was disappointed in my experience with this blog today.

Hi Don. Thanks for the comment. We do our best to review wines as fast as we can after we buy them. In this case I see a lot of inventory right now for this Goldeneye Pinot around Atlanta. It’s in Perimeter, Cumberland, Town Center, Woodstock. Maybe more. I’m not sure how you are searching but the new app allows you to search by warehouse.
