We are always down for trying new Burgundies when they arrive at Costco and this was a new one we ran into.
Costco’s price at $22.99 is about what we found the wine selling for online, and Vivino showed an average price of $22.61. So perhaps not much of a deal here for buying at Costco.
We found this to be a pretty basic Burgundy, nothing to write home about, and nothing too memorable. You can score other bottles of Pinot Noir at Costco that are higher quality and under $20.
In the glass, the wine pours a pale ruby; a bit muted on the nose; medium in body with pleasant fruit; flavors of cherry, raspberry and rhubarb; simple and felt a little constrained, even after some time in the decanter. Mellow finish.
This is a first step in the Burgundy ladder. A drinkable table wine; not much more or very interesting so probably a bottle we would pass on in the future.

Seems like Georgia must have the best wine buyer in the USA. Why might you ask..? Because most of theses "NEW WINES" are only found in Georgia and "NEVER FOUND IN NEW JERSEY"

@i hope they show up in costco of wayne new jersey, Costco has a distribution center in Atlanta. Can't even find these wines in Alabama. Some wines never leave Atlanta.

@Mitch Luxenberg, interesting - we ended with opposing views, as I felt disappointed in the review - my summary of the review, "mediocre wine at best but still gets an 86".
Probably a good example for me as to why I should pay attention to the words rather than the final number.
That said, like you, I very much enjoy this blog and appreciate the author's efforts.
