We are big fans of the Cote des Roses series from Gerard Bertrand. They are a consistently solid producer whose wines (red, white and rosé) we are seeing more and more in Costco stores.
Last year, we tasted and reviewed the Sauvignon Blanc from the Cote des Roses series, and found it to be highly enjoyable, rating it 88 points.
These wines are marked by the signature base to the bottle you can see here, shaped into a rose. Yes, it still stands upright just fine.
We missed getting a photo of the Costco placard this time around, but the price was $12.99, compared to a retail price of $16.99.
This is a Languedoc rosé blended from Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault, which we love as a combo, in rosé wines and other reds from France as well.
This wine is a light pink salmon in the glass with red fruit and floral aromas; citrusy fruit with notes of pear, strawberry, orange; nice acidity, crisp finish. A lovely rosé.
We're going to come in at 89 points for this bottle, putting our rating right on par with the Kirkland Signature Cotes de Provence rosé.

Do you know of any reason COSTCO stopped selling the Sav Blanc by this producer?

Hi Lee. I’m not sure they did. We saw it last weekend in a store near Atlanta. Item number for the sauv Blanc is 1770710 if you want to search for it in the app

Bertrand rose is quite good. Agree w rating but that ridiculous glass stopper precludes additional purchase.
