Sneaking in a quickie here after Thanksgiving when we enjoyed this Canadian Icewine. We’ve tasted and reviewed a few of these before and they’ve always been a fun change of pace.
These are definitely on the sweeter side but packed with flavor and character.
Golden in the glass with nice body to it, this wine has peach and apricot flavors, surrounded by honey notes. We like enjoying these before and after meals. Price is $19.99 for a 375ml bottle.
As we’ve said before for Icewines, it’s difficult for us to rate them on the standard 100 point scale as we don’t have a huge context for them. For now, a thumbs up from us especially for readers who enjoy this style of wine.
Alc. 10.5%
This wine was received as a sample for the purpose of writing this review. All reviews are written at the discretion of the individual reviewer. Opinions of the reviewer do not necessarily reflect those of CostcoWineBlog.com as a whole, and reviewers are not paid for their reviews by wineries or their affiliated distributors. We at CostcoWineBlog.com believe that wine preferences and opinions are often subjective and highly individualistic. Our scores are based on our individual perception of a wine and how well it reflects the area in which the grapes are grown, the expression of the grapes, and also the quality of the finished product. We remind readers that we are 100% independent of Costco Wholesale Corporation, and are simply of a group of Costco wine fans looking to try new wines and share our favorites with this community.

Haven't seen this yet in our local Costco, but I think you're right not to rank it in a points system anyway. Wines should be described something along the lines of "poor - not recommended. good - recommended Excellent - highly recommended" etc
