We always love finding and tasting new Italian white wines at Costco, especially this time of the year.
There’s not a lot of information on the bottle so we poked around a bit online. This wine heralds from the Veneto region of Italy and is comprised of 70% Garganega, 30% Chardonnay and Sauvignon Blanc.
Garganega is the primary grape used in Soave wines, so if you enjoy those (as we do very much), this one may be right up your alley too.
We like Costco’s price of $12.99 considering this bottle sells for $16 at Total Wine and retail looks to be around $19.
The wine has a nice medium body with creaminess and floral notes; flavors of lemon, peach, apricot and apple; beautiful minerally finish.
An excellent find at Costco right now and the price is right for this delicious Italian white wine that we will definitely stock up on if it’s still around.
