This is a fun and inexpensive red blend from Portugal that checks a lot of boxes. We're huge fans of Portuguese wines right now and find them to represent extreme values as evidenced here.
This bottle is $7.99 at Costco, and looks to go for around $11-13 elsewhere online, so a pretty nice Costco discount.

We found the varietal makeup as well which consists of two native grapes, Castelão and Arragonês. And they come together here quite nicely.
Getting into the wine, it pours a medium ruby in the glass with aromas of dried fruit, pencil shavings; medium bodied with juicy, bright red and dark fruit flavor; cherry, blueberry; pleasant finish.

Not a bad little wine at all. And the price is certainly right on. A good value pick as we've come to get used to from Portugal.
