It's been a really long time since we last reviewed the Kirkland Ti Point Sauvignon Blanc. It was actually a little over four years ago, with this review of the 2014 vintage.
One thing to note from the current vintages compared to the past, is that the price actually went down to $6.99, from $7.99, making an already inexpensive wine that much more affordable. This happened a few vintages back; I'm surprised we haven't posted a more recent review as I know this has ended up in our cart multiple times over the past few years.
I picked up a few bottles given the current coronovirus lock down, as I was looking for a quantity buy of a white wine that was a little different than what we've been getting into lately. This wine goes down so fast and easy though, it's hard to keep them on hand.
Fans of Marlborough New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs like Nobilo, Brancott Estate and Giesen, will love this one. It's right in that same spirit, but a little less expensive. Signature New Zealand in style.
This wine pours pretty clear with a tint of light yellow, tangy citrus fruit aromas on the nose; in the mouth is more citrus fruit, grapefruit, green apple, lemon peel; super tangy and acidic as these wines tend to be, but pleasant throughout into the finish.
Definitely a lot of tang and tart if you like whites along those lines. This bottle just screams for a super hot day in the sun, or sitting at a beach or pool (all things I know we are all dreaming about right now).

You seem to rate wines lower than red most of the time. While the Kirkland Sauvignon Blank certainly isn't the greatest SV in the world I would have given it an 88.
