Our friend Matthew (who also started our Costco wine blog subreddit)spotted this new addition to the Kirkland wine portfolio, a 2023 Cabernet from Sonoma County.
The price is certainly right at $6.99 and his early tasting notes tell us this is a smooth, easy drinking Cab that got pretty good with 20-30 minutes of air.
Initial rating of 86 points.
We don’t have a lot of info on the wine besides what we can sleuth from the back label.
It does appear to come from Grape and Grain imports, which is a division of Precept wine. More here on the bottles they distribute.
