The latest version of the Bordeaux boxed set is hitting stores now. We always enjoy seeing what's offered here as they are usually incredible values.
It's been a little while since we posted about this box. Here is our last write up. We are putting this in the news section as we likely won't have a chance to taste and review these and get them in the cycle. Too many wines, too little time.
Here we have four new wines with this year's box and it looks promising.
CHÂTEAU MATERRE 2022
This is a Bordeaux Superieur; 70% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon,10% Malbec
CHÂTEAU LATASTE 2022
This is from Cadillac Cotes de Bordeaux; 55% Merlot and 45% Cabernet Sauvignon
CHÂTEAU HAUT LANDON 2022
Another Bordeaux Superieur with an interesting varietal makeup; 54% Malbec, 38% Merlot, 8% Cabernet Sauvignon
BARONNE DE VIGNONET 2022
From Blaye; 80% Merlot, 20% Cabernet Sauvignon
An interesting assortment and as always, it's hard to beat that price of $29.99 for four bottles.

Picked up 3 bottles of the Brunello and gave one away during a dinner invite, however we did not open it to drink. Went back to my Fairfax Va Costco 3 days later and the shelf was almost bare but passed on buying more. Based on your review, I think I made a mistake.
