New and Updated Book DECODING FRENCH WINE – available now

“Decoding French Wine: A Beginner’s Guide to Enjoying the Fruits of the French Terroir” was the first book that I wrote back in 2012. And it was far from perfect, and maybe distant from good but it was an invaluable learning experience.

I gave the book a small refresh a few years after publishing, but then went on to focus on Decoding Spanish Wine and Decoding Italian Wine, both of which saw pretty good sales, and much better consumer reviews.

So I’ve been meaning to revisit this French book and give it the love that it deserves, especially because it represents my favorite wine region of the world. I was fortunate enough to travel to France a few times the past couple of years and even tour the great estates of Bordeaux. So my knowledge was expanding as well.

As a special discount for Costco Wine readers, for a limited time I am offering the Kindle version of the updated book right now for only $0.99, and paperback is only $5.99. It is free to read on Kindle Unlimited. And if you purchased the original book and send me your receipt or copy of your Amazon order, I’ll send you a free PDF.

Click the (newly designed) cover below. Thanks. Andrew

Is the Kirkland chamlagne still available. I couldn't find it the last time I was shopping at Costco.

Should be. I just bought some last weekend in the Atlanta area. Look for the new low rider bottles https://costcowineblog.com/side-by-side-tasting-of-the-kirkland-champagne-new-bottle-vs-old-bottle/
