Just caught word from a reader who spotted a Kirkland Sancerre for $15.79.
That would be a first under the Kirkland brand and we love Sancerre. Hope it shows up around here. soon.
If anyone opens one, please report back

I found this one in Indianapolis today (Michigan Rd). I bought a couple of bottles but not sure what to expect as I don’t think I’ve had this type of wine before.

I picked up a bot at my Minneapolis-St. Paul Costco yesterday— I’ll be trying it today. I love Sancerres, and am desperately hoping this will be a thrill!

Surprisingly respectable! Sancerre is my favorite and when I saw this at CostCo, had to try. Super dry, crisp, flinty – just like a Sancerre is supposed to be. A bit sharp, but if I was served this in a nice restaurant, I’d have no idea it came from Costco. Very drinkable. Would love to know which winery it’s from. Cheers!

Thanks CinCin. I just tasted it too (finally found it) and I agree. Posting a write up tomorrow. This is a nice new addition to the Kirkland wine portfolio.
