I haven’t tried it yet, but today at my local Danvers, MA Costco, I saw the 2015 Cotes du Rhone from Guigal for $11.60. It would probably cost about $15 or more elsewhere. Guigal is a serious, dependable producer and 2015 was an absolute killer vintage in the Rhone.
I could not find the 2015 in Atlanta – we only had the 2016 vintage in stock. It was pretty good, and it cost $16 at my Costco. It has medium body, and a bit of funky Gigondas character. I don’t think this is as good as some Cotes du Rhones, which are a bit cheaper.
