Another May arrival for this popular Kirkland bottle, just in time for the warmer months when these Rosé really hit the spot (although yes, they are great all year long).
Lots of similarities with prior vintages but a change to the varietal makeup worth noting.
This 2024 vintage is comprised of 44% Grenache, 26% Cinsault, 15% Syrah and 15% Vermentino. In the past we've seen small parts of Carignan, Tibouren, and Ugni Blanc in the blend.
The price is the same as always, $7.99 which no one will ever complain about for Cotes de Provence Rosé . Same winemaker, Olivier Sumeire, too.
Scores over the years have been strong from us, 89-90 every vintage.

And we're going to have to continue the 89 point string with this latest vintage that is slightly more minerally and acidic than we noted in the previous vintages.
Beautiful pale salmon color in the glass; subtle citrus fruit and wet rock on the nose; strawberry, raspberry, white peach and pear flavors; crisp and refreshing; light in body but big on flavor.
A winning vintage for this bottle that remains a solid buy in the Kirkland wine portfolio.
