Here's a Costco staple Sauvignon Blanc from New Zealand's famed Marlborough region that we had yet to post about. Almost hard to believe.
A couple years ago we posted about Oyster Bay's Pinot Noir which is also delicious, and frequently mentioned to be among the best wine buys at Costco. We don't disagree. It's a great Pinot for only $12.
We've enjoyed this Sauvignon Blanc quite a bit over the years. It's perfect for a hot summer day, crisp, acidic, refreshing...everything you expect from NZ Sauvignon Blanc.
For fans of Matua, Kim Crawford, Nobilo or Whitehaven, you're going to find a lot to like here if you're not already tuned into this wine. It has that signature NZ grassiness; medium body, nice tropical fruit flavor, tangy acidity and a great finish.
We're big fans of this one among this style of wine. And you can't beat the $10.49 price tag. Wine.com sells it for $14, discounted from retail of $16. Cheers to last few weeks of summer.

How does it compare to the Kirkland Signature Ti Point Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc for $7.49?

Been a little while since we’ve tasted and reviewed that one but probably need to revisit. Last time we gave it 87 points https://costcowineblog.com//2019-kirkland-signature-ti-point-marlborough-sauvignon-blanc/

@Max Weber, I love the signature Ti Point Sauvignon Blanc. I always buy a case. I like the Oyster Bay Sauvignon Blanc, but not as much as the Kirkland Ti Point . The difference in price is remarkable given that the Kirkland Ti Point is soooo good. If offered both, the Kirkland is my choice.

One of my favorite wines is the Kirkland NZ Sauvignon Blanc. It would be interesting to do a comparative tasting with this Oyster Bay wine. I do like Oyster Bay but would be curious to see if it's worth the $2.50-3.00 extra.
