The first note we made after a few tastes of this new Costco Pinot said "checks every box."
And the more we went on, the more we found to enjoy here. What a delicious wine from Oregon's Willamette Valley. (we actually just reviewed the latest Kirkland Willamette Valley Pinot, which is consistently good as well.)
The price point on this two vineyard blend from Argyle isn't inexpensive at $39.99 but sometimes you get what you pay for. You can see the 94 points from Spectator, which is close to where we're going to end up for this bottle.

A very elegant wine throughout, and what we really like is the balance. Nice red fruit, raspberry and strawberry; touch of cranberry more pronounced on day two; vanilla, red licorice, subtle spice. Excellent mouthfeel and a perfect finish.
Not your everyday Pinot and a wine that is certainly worth a score in the low 90's. We'll be putting this on our recommended wine list, with a thumbs up for Pinot fans. Especially those who love the Oregon ones as much as we do.

Is the CostCo item number correct on this review of Argyle(975274)? Seems to be the same as the Kirkland Pinot and the Kirkland Pinot is what shows up on the mobile app search
