There have been a few of these sub $30 Brunellos hitting Costco shelves lately, and we've had some readers write in with positive comments about many of them.
The popular $20 Kirkland Brunello is likely long gone so many of us are looking for tasty alternatives that don't cost too much more.

Here's a new one we've never seen before, coming in at $29.99, which is a little less than we found it online where the price hovers around $32-$35.
It's a delicious Brunello; medium to deep ruby in the glass; aromas of dark fruit, herbs and spice; medium plus in body with flavors of sour cherry, plum and blackberry; into the finish are notes of leather, anise and earth; acidic, long finish.

This is a fun one, and just what Brunello fans are hoping for. 91 points from us, and a spot on our Top Picks list.

My wife and I visited this winery on a trip to Italy. I have been ordering from them since but now Costco carries it! Can't wait to find it. Great people and great wine.

I picked up a bottle last week. Jancis Robinson rates this wine 16 out of 20, with a drinking window of 2025-2030.

I too have visited this vineyard and love their wines. Finding it at Costco is a major plus as this brunello is like 60 euros from the winery plus the freight.

On a related note, I just found Peppoli Chianti Classico in our Scottsdale store for $17.99. Peppoli is from the Antinori family in Tuscany and is a wonderful wine.
It sells for $21-23/bottle at Total.
If you like a solid quality Chianti Classico at a great price, give it a shot. Hope you can find it in the Atlanta area.
