Huge score here, especially for Spanish wine fans who will instantly jump at a bottle like this.
A Crianza Ribera del Duero with 5 years of age for only $12.99. That's hard to beat and the wine delivered just as we hoped.

A whopping 94 points from Wine Enthusiast. I know the placard says 93, but pretty sure it's 94 points. And the bottle label confirms it as well.
If you hit that link you'll also notice the retail price of $35, which is hard to believe since Costco is selling this bottle for a fraction of that price.
We're coming off a week visiting Spain, enjoying the amazing food and wine the country offers, so we are really excited right now (and most times) about Spanish wine, and this one delivers in every way.

Aromatic nose; great mouthfeel, medium plus in body; packed with flavor of black cherry, red and dark fruit, surrounded by herbs and earthy notes; excellent finish.
About as good as you'll find for $13. We should have bought a case. An easy 91 points for us.

Hmm. I got this wine in Nashville TN area. It is not that good. I hadad mentioned it to someone that lives in south FL area. They also obtained in south Fla and notified me (but by then I had already bought) that it did not merit buying. Given WE rating (94) and costcowineblog review, I can only conclude that they must have made many cases of this wine and some of it may be good but some may be bad (i.e., high volume inconsistency). Sorry but I cannot recommend this one.
