Here's a great summer pleaser, and a wine I've always enjoyed in large part because it's made in a white Bordeaux style with a bit of Semillion in the blend. This creates a wine that's still packed with flavor but the lower acidity and extra body of the Semillion keeps the "puckerness" under control, which I prefer, plus I find that it pairs better with a wider range of meals (we enjoyed this wine with chicken tacos and it was great on a hot summer day).
The wine pours almost clear in the glass believe it or not, with just a tint of yellow. It looks much brighter in color in the bottle. Muted a bit on the nose with a little vanilla and floral aromas. More vanilla, with lemon, lime, melon and apricot flavors in the mouth; the wine is creamy like vanilla ice cream; finishes strong, powerful and lasting.
We enjoyed this '14 vintage of this wine, probably more than others we've had in the past. This is a nice buy, and at $23.99, Costco's price is about as good as I've ever seen on this one.

Bought a bottle of 2013 Chateau Malartic-Lagraviere Bordeaux white blend this week. You suggested before to be open to trying other different wines, so this one piqued my interest. Never had a Bordeaux white wine before, so I tried it, even at $64. I'm glad I did... enjoyed it very much with friends. Complex, refreshing citrus fruit, pleasant aged wood, with a nice finish. So used to the cabs and other fine reds...never thought a white blend could be this good. Hope to go back for more for cellaring. Hope you find this one at your Costco!

So glad to hear it and I will look for that one as I love white Bordeaux. The good thing about wine is when you're ready for something different there are a lot of places to go. I'd try a bunch from Spain too, red and white. So many greats buys there right now.
