UPDATE: Our complete look at the new 2025 Costco Wine Advent calendar is now live.
Thanks to long time reader Annie, we have a first look at the new 2025 Costco Wine Advent calendar.
In years past, we've found it in stores in September, but seeing it in August is extra early this time around. We hope to get our hands on one soon for an in depth post, but let's take a look at what we know so far.
We did not receive info on the price, but we are hoping it stays the same at $99.99. The Costco item number also appears to be the same: 1755071. You can use the Costco mobile app to search availability near you.
The packaging design is fresh for 2025, and you can visit the boxes' website here for details on the wines inside, including videos on each one. They always do a real nice job with that website.
As we compare the wines to the 2024 box, we see a few new ones.
- Australian Red Blend
- Italian Ripasso
- Hungarian Gruner Veltliner
- California Zinfandel
- Australian Chardonnay
- French chocolate wine
Just to name a few. Hopefully we have more to come on this year's selection very soon. In the meantime, check out our full write up on the 2024 Costco Wine Advent Calendar.

I live in Michigan and was so disappointed last years calendar wasn’t available for me! Is there a way to check where it will be distributed in 2025?
Editor says
Search for item # 1755071 in the Costco mobile app and you can see availability at all stores near you.

This does not work. Says, “no match is found”. I’m from Southwestern PA, was hoping Columbus would get some this year.

I emailed the distributor; each region gets to decide if they want to carry it. Not all regions are carrying it again this year, rude.
Melissa Lohrman says
Email your Costco region, but I am pretty sure the MW region did not get them again this year. Let them know you are not happy. That is the only way it changes.
Pat says
I think I read last year that the same was true for Ohio. We won't be getting it.
Dave says
Not available in MN yet.

Yes, I was unable to get it in the Southeast. Terribly sad. But my friends got a few for me from other retailers— just not the same. 🤞🤞🤞. Costco, don’t let me down this year, PLEASE.
Katie says
The distributor said SC is getting it, so hopefully that helps you!

Yeah !!!! Got my wine Advent Calendar at the Montgomery Costco this week. Thank you, Thank you, Southern Region for stocking this year. Can’t wait for December.

I give these out to my grandkids every year, and they love them!

I bought mine yesterday! I live in Alaska, so I grab it when I see it.
Different box than the one shown but the numbers matched. I'm excited for December! I've bought these the last 5-6 years and there has only been one year I felt wasn't worth it. It's fun to try them and the wines are usually tasty enough, easy drinkers.
Cheers in advance!

Interesting. Can you send us a pic of the box you found? Curious how it is similar or different.

I saw 2 different prints in the boxes. I did not check if they are different wines. I just got the one that matches the article (globe on top and candle jars in the side.) The other were gloves / mittens in the side.

I got one in Seattle today.
Honestly feel quite disappointed - PQR is probably much lower than the sets I got a few years back. About half of the wines are generic (no specific appellations). Sangria, chocolate truffle and sake - meh. So at 8.33 per bottle, does not feel like a bargain at all. I guess Hungarian gruner is something to look forward to.

Forgot to add: the most suspicious one is the California pinot that is bottled in France and then re-imported back into US. 🤯
avs says
edit: that's zinfandel, not pinot.

Just got the last box at the Knoxville, TN, Costco: $105.99 ($4.42 per bottle). It wasn't available in the store last year, but they were nice to Knoxers this year!
