It's getting hot here in Atlanta, and across much of the country right now. A nice bottle of rosé can really hit the spot.
This is one we tasted and reviewed last year with the 2023 vintage, and we liked it, didn't love it, so wanted to go another round with the 2024 vintage we found at Costco this week.
The price has stayed the same at a pretty reasonable $11.99. Online we see it selling for around $15.

This one appealed to us the first time around because it's a Spanish rosé made from Pinot Noir grapes, which is a little different.
We found this latest vintage to be similar in some ways to the prior year, but a tad better so we are bringing the score up one point to 88.
The wine is a light to medium salmon color in the glass, with a bit more on the nose and body going on with this vintage. Nice red fruit throughout, mostly strawberry, raspberry, with some peach; touch of creaminess; crisp, acidic finish.
Not a bad buy at all for $12, and a fun wine to taste again.

Could you publish a list of all the wines you’ve given a rating over 90, and if they are still found on the shelves?
Annie says
That last part is impossible, as what is on shelves is different for each individual Costco!
Henry says
Agreed. Even if such a list were to be published, it probably would be outdated not long thereafter. Best to use the Costco app and search. This Rosé is not available in my local Costco so that saves a trip if I am interested in a particular wine Andrew reviews or in general, any other product sold at the warehouse.

You're right, it would be tough, especially with varied inventory store to store, region by region, and given how fast Costco moves stuff. Don't forget about the Top Pick link (https://costcowineblog.com/category/recommended/). This one always has our 91+ rated wines, most recent first. And as Henry says, the new search feature in the Costco app is a life saver for seeing which stores are carrying what items. We include the item number at the end of all reviews to make searching easy and accurate. Cheers

Have you tried Comte de la Chevaliere Sancerre Rose? I saw it at my Atl Costco today.
Editor says
Not the rose. Just this one:

How was the rose? Do you have price and item number perhaps?
