Wow, here's another outstanding Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc we found right on the heels of the amazing Saint Clair that we just tasted and rated 91 points.
These are really next level wines from this region, and we think fans will really note a difference. This bottle is also in that $15 range, but drinks bigger than that.
We see it going for $19.99 at Total Wine, and about that same price elsewhere we searched online. Wine Spectator went 92 points as you can see on the placard below.

This wine is big on passion fruit; flavors of grapefruit, white peach, pineapple; there's a notable minerality and high acid but not as much as other New Zealand Sauvignon Blancs. So great balance, still good tart but it doesn't take over.
This is an enjoyable bottle from a region that keeps getting more interesting, the more we explore, especially beyond the usual suspects.

Be sure to keep an eye out for this as well as the Saint Clair Sauv Blanc that is also in stores and a similar price point. Both are hitting 91 points from us with a big thumbs up.

Funny I opened this bottle last night with some friends and we all tasted grapefruit. The wine was delicious.
