I bought this one on a whim to break things up a bit, and that's exactly what it did. This is as close to fruit punch as you can get. Yes, it is slightly bubbly and it is sweet, very sweet. Combined with the low alcohol (at 5.5%), it makes for a nice treat, maybe before or after dinner (perhaps you were smart enough to scoop this up for Thanksgiving). It's not necessarily my favorite style of wine though, and since I haven't tried enough to really know how this one measures up, I'm going to pass on rating it. The Costco price of $8.99 makes it accessible enough to try. Just know what you're getting into, and serve it at the right time. -- Radcliffe |
