2009 Domaine de la Motte Chablis

A bright and crisp Chablis that's a joy to drink. The Costco price of $15 isn't too bad either for a bottle from one of the premier wine growing regions in the world.

It's light in color, borderline almost clear, and has a nice citrusy flavor that hits you first on the nose and then on the palate.  The clean and bright flavor is likely the result of their stainless steel tanks which they use for all but their Premier Crus.  The result is a wine with easily distinguished flavor, a crispness that is awesome for summertime drinking and a remarkably smooth finish.

A nicely assembled Chablis for a great price; I like this one.
