Our Favorite Costco Wines for Summer

It's summertime and there's a whole host of great wines to enjoy that we've found at Costco lately. Here's a list of some of our favorites that work in the heat, with some food on the grill, around the pool, or generally outdoors in one capacity or another.  As always, some of these may be sold through at your Costco, but see what you can find.  Click on the label to read our review.  Enjoy.

This one came out of left field but what a nice execution of these varietals at a great price

This has been a stronghold for a few years running.  A great Marlborough bottle.

Definitely the most expensive on the list at $25-$30, but this is an awesome Chardonnay.

OK, so maybe not the summer wine you were thinking of, but this is a ridiculously good value, and I still like to enjoy reds during the warm weather.

Of the Latour whites (and there seem to be quite a few at Costco right now), this is the one to buy.  I loved it.

$7.99.  Do I need to say more?  Here's your summer Riesling.

And I should throw out an honorable mention to a couple other great ones.

2009 Honig Napa Sauvignon Blanc:  lots of fun, I really enjoyed this one. $14

2009 Nobilo Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc: insane value at $8.99.  New Zealand, grassy, citrus
