2009 Kris Pinot Grigio

This is a really nice and inexpensive Italian Pinot Grigio; much better than I was expecting for only $9.89 at my Costco.  It reminds me a lot of the Santa Margherita Pinot Grigio that's always a crowd favorite, but is nearly double the price (even at Costco; I need to buy a bottle to review).

This Kris has tons of great honey, lemon and pineapple flavor.  It has a nice pale yellow color, good body to hold the flavor and a finish that leaves hints of lemon and lime on the palate.

Overall, a surprisingly good find for under $10.  A fun one to enjoy with friends outdoors as the weather gets nice.  And a good wine to grill some spicy chicken with, which is what we did tonight.  A clear CostcoWineBlog.com Value Pick.
