2007 Liberty School Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon

A fruity Cabernet in typical Paso Robles fashion, that stays pretty mellow throughout and drops off toward the finish.  The first half of the drink is much more enjoyable than the second.  These inexpensive Paso Cabs are easy to pick out from the pack, as they lack some of the refinement that their Napa counterparts offer.

But all in all, this is $9.99 bottle that I bought as part of my segment on under $10 wines , and it's hard to criticize these bottles for what they may lack when they're priced this low.  So this bottle didn't impress me, but didn't disappoint, under those parameters.
