An interesting blend of 60% Sangiovese, 20% Merlot and 20% Syrah that came together much better than I was expecting. The Sangiovese retains a dryness throughout, but the other varietals really pack in the fruit flavor. It has a good spiciness that coats your mouth and tongue, and helps create the long finish. I like it a lot at only $12.99 so it will definitely land on my Value Picks list, and it stands as a good example of some of the unique blends coming out of Italy right now, that are generally priced right.
