2010 Chateau Moulin de Mallet Bordeaux
|Not my favorite but I could drink this with an average mid-week meal or food from the grill.|
There’s nothing too interesting here at all. The fruit is a little sour (I think it’s predominantly Merlot), not incredibly approachable. Finish falls a bit short too. But you have to remember this wine is only $6.99 at Costco. You’re not going to find many bottles in that range that are much better.
So if you’re shopping for quantity vs quality, stock up. If you’re throwing a party and you want people to think you spent more on wine than you really did, then they might buy the looks of the bottle (but likely not much more).
