2010 Cavit Moscato
|I like the fact that we’re seeing more and more Moscatos popping up, and this one from Cavit is probably the lowest priced one I’ve ever seen – only $6.89 at Costco.|
And it’s exactly what you would expect – signature Moscato. Small bubbles on the pour, then citrus flavors of peach, apples and mango, with a little sweetness throughout. Low alcohol as is typical (7%). A fun wine for before or after meals. For $6.89, this one hangs pretty strong.
If you like these wines, be sure to see if your Costco carries the Saracco Moscato. I thought it was a particularly good one (but almost twice the cost of this Cavit).
