Freixenet Cordon Negro Brut
I didn't know this was the best selling imported sparkling wine when I bought it, but after trying it, I can definitely see why. For only $7.50 a bottle at Costco, it's a great value.
It's a soft and subtle wine, overall very dry, making it a nice choice for a variety of occasions; or as I prefer, it's perfect to serve before a meal. Its simplicity is really want makes it enjoyable, and safe to serve to just about anyone. A great way to get a night started.
