2006 Raymond Napa Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve
| Definitely one of the best $20 Napa Cabs I’ve tasted in a while. Superb value at this price point. Big cherry with red and dark fruit delivered delicately in a medium bodied wine that didn’t feel big in the mouth while at the same time holds nothing back. It’s predominantly Cab but is blended with a small dose of Merlot (5%) and Cabernet Franc (4%). The other varieties might help create this winning formula, but this one seemed destined for greatness from the get go.|
This is a must-buy Costco bottle. The $22 price tag I found is significantly below other outlets (even online), making it that much more of a steal. This will earn it a spot on my Value Picks as well as a Silver Rating. Don’t miss out on this one.
